Mega Millions Tops $400M, 66 ranks among most-drawn white balls, Powerball jackpot reaches $562M
Mega Millions Tops 400 Million!
This is The Lottery Rundown for Wednesday October 14th
Mega Millions drew Tuesday night with 11, 12, 15, 40 and 66, plus Mega Ball 17, and nobody matched all six. Eleven returned after 58 drawings away. Did that long absence surprise you? Meanwhile, 66 is one of the five most-drawn white balls over the past six years, appearing 55 times. It has attended more drawings than some people attend family reunions. Friday’s jackpot is 403 million dollars, with a cash value of 162 million 100 thousand dollars. That could fund a nationwide network of tiny elevators for dachshunds, staffed by uniformed attendants and audited by one deeply serious corgi.
Moving to Powerball, the last draw was Monday, October 12, with 22, 28, 38, 51 and 69, plus Powerball 9 and a three-times multiplier. Nobody hit the jackpot, while one lucky UK ticket holder scored 1 million dollars. Twenty-two came back after 34 drawings away, the longest gap among Monday’s white balls. Tonight’s jackpot stands at 562 million dollars, with a cash value of 230 million 400 thousand dollars.
